One thing to note is that if she is planning to breastfeed, she might only be able to eat or drink that craving after she breastfeeds. Again, this depends on what the food or drink is. Consult your health care provider if you are not sure whether it is fine for the mom to have that meal.<\/p>\n
I’ve heard that some women might be craving burger or sushi. That is totally up to her unless you have a strict diet to follow after birth.<\/p>\n
For me, my family has these Asian traditions where I am only allowed to eat or drink certain things for the month postpartum. It is not the tastiest (in my opinion), but it helps with restoring my body with nutrients and energy to take care of the baby. So, I had a request for sushi a month after giving birth.<\/p>\n
