After becoming a mother myself, I started to think a lot about how my parents raised me. Motherhood is a whole different world than I have experienced before. This Mother’s day is my mom’s first Mother’s day as a grandmother since Baby K was born. I started looking up ideas on what to give grandmothers on Mother’s day and came up with this guide for you.

From personalized gifts to creative and thoughtful ones, I found Etsy is such a goldmine for these gifts. Also, you get to support individual entrepreneurs and creatives around the world. So, why not?

Here are some Mother’s day gift ideas for grandmothers:

BY CLICKING THE LINKS AND MAKING A PURCHASE, I MIGHT BE EARNING A SMALL COMMISSION AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU. PLEASE SEE OUR FULL DISCLOSURE FOR MORE DETAILS.

One: Grandma mug

The first gift I found that I thought would be really cute is this mug which says “This grandma belongs to…” followed by a bunch of faces of the grandkids with their names.

What I love about it is that grandma can show off her grandkids whenever she uses the cup. Also, it’s such a cute cup.

The only thing is that if your mom or grandmother has more than 10 grandchildren, you might need two cups. I was thinking last night that my grandmother before she passed, had 17 grandkids. This doesn’t even include the spouses and great-grandchildren.

It is something to consider as an awesome Mother’s day gift for grandma.

Two: Nana’s garden sign

This gift is similar to the mug idea but printed on a garden sign. You can put all the grandkids’ names on the sign.

It’s perfect now, especially when the weather is getting warmer. Grandma can tend to her garden of vegetables, fruits, and flowers and be reminded that her grandchildren are thinking of her.

What I also love about this Nana’s garden sign gift is that the kids can learn about the different things in grandma’s garden and find their names in the sign. Especially the little kids, when they’re curious about the world and things in the garden.

Three: Glam-ma shirt

I find this shirt to be hilarious because it plays on the word grandma and being glamorous. It is definitely on my list to consider getting for my mom as people think she’s young to be a grandmother.

Maybe it’s just me, but I do enjoy the play on words. Yes, very cheesy. If your mom or grandma will appreciate things like this shirt, I would definitely get it for her.

She might just wear it on a family outing and take a picture with the grandbabies. It might or might not go on her Facebook page. Well, as long as she wears the Glam-ma t-shirt and is happy, that’s all that matters, right?

Four: Stars and Constellation Print

What I love about this stars gift is the ability to capture the moment when each person was born and how the stars would look like that night.

It can accommodate three different people, so you can choose to include grandma, mom, and grandchild. Another option if you have two kids, just grandmother and grandkids. You can also put just the grandchildren if you have 3 children.

She would display this stars and constellation print well on her wall and be reminded of the wonderful memories when her child or grandchildren were born.

A nice feature with the stars and constellation gift is that you can choose to print it yourself with the digital image they send to you or get it printed and delivered to you.

Five: Grandmother’s spa gift box

“Once a mother, forever a mother”. Have you heard of this saying? It’s true. My husband’s mom still worries if he wears enough, if she needs to buy him a thicker jacket, if we have groceries at home, and if I have enough milk to feed Baby K.

Yes, mothers worry a lot.

Grandmothers have more to think about after their babies have their own babies. So, this spa gift box is a great way to say thanks and for them to also have time to relax and rejuvenate.

When you give this spa box to them, thank them for all that they’ve done for you.

Six: Vintage Atlas Heart

This Vintage Atlas gift is made out of two parts that form a heart. One side shows where the mother lives and the other where the child lives.

It would be perfect for those who do not live in the same place as their grandmother. You can choose two different states or even countries.

This Vintage Atlas tells them that though we are not physically near you, we are always thinking about you. It can also serve as a conversation piece when people visit your mom or grandmother.

Seven: Three generations Necklace

This three generations necklace is beautiful, both in aesthetic and in meaning. I love how it’s interconnected just like the saying of when your mother carried you in her womb, she also carried her potential future grandchildren.

Every time that your mom or grandma put the necklace on, not only it looks so elegant but also signifies how she carries her children and her grandchildren in her heart.

I love that’s this three generations necklace looks like a timeless piece that she can give it to her grandchild as a gift on their wedding day.

Eight: Knot bracelet

Last, but not least, this wonderful Mother’s day gift is a charming bracelet that can be personalized with the initials of the grandbabies names.

For your fashionable grandma, this would be a lovely gift for her. You can add additional charms with more grandkids or fur babies added to the family.

I love that the knot bracelet is so simple, yet so beautiful.
